So, what do people want to see happen on this site? What sorts of situations do you want your characters to get into? What kind of missions do you want hem to have to search out a useful morph for? The possibilities are only limited by our imaginations. I myself am open to almost anything, so my main goal is to figure out what other people like and come up with some awesome plots to incorporate what they want to do. Some things to consider are action, character development, world building, story flexibility, available in-character resources, etc. To get this subject rolling, ere are some things I would like to have happen eventually: - Kiki morphs hippo and kicks some yeerk butt.
- A group of animorphs acquires a new animal to complete a mission.
- Uncover a secret plot or secret project.
- Learn more about The One and what he is up to.
- Water mission.
If more people share what sorts of things they want to do, then I think we can take those ideas and create some more focused brainstorming threads to explore the plot possibilities. So, what do you guys want to do? The sky is the limit.

You know what morphs we never seem to use? The bug morphs. I'd like to do a mission that involves the use of those, perhaps an investigation sort of mission-- uncovering something.
I also fully agree with a water mission since those morphs are rarely used. I'm just not incredibly sure on how to use those. Perhaps the Yeerks have an underwater base or something? Right! That's it. The Yeerks/The One are keeping something underwater for safe keeping, something that could cause a heck of a lot of trouble.
Do not ask me what that something is yet. I don't know. Heck, I don't know if this is possible. XD
EDIT: What if the bug morph mission is used to find out about the underwater base? I like connecting threads to one another like an arc, so... yeah. Maybe we could do something with that?

Ok. Lets see. Here are my opinions on things that have been posted... A definite yes to arcing threads. I have always had issues with threads that seem to lack much continuity. I prefer plot arcs. The more we come up with these sorts of things, the better... that's my opinion. I love the idea of doing something with a bug morph and/or a water morph. Joining these together could be tricky, but I'm all for trying to do that. It could be incredibly cool to see that one play out. The secret plot or secret project could be a very good excuse. Other things: - A "Mission Morph" Mission: I think we're definitely going to have more than one of these things, missions where we get a new morph specifically because of the mission. However I'd love to try and plan one out and play it out in the near future.
- This may be just my opinion: We're definitely going to be kicking some yeerk booty. Possibly in the rescue scene, but if not there we can figure out something that would involve that.
- I agree that learning more about The One and what he is up to would be good. It would be very beneficial to the characters.
I have nothing of my own to add just yet. I'm going to think on things, though, and probably post again here at a later date.

I agree, if we can come up with plot arcs that would be amazing. We kind of are right now, with introducing everyone. I pretty much agree with what everyone's said before. We are definitely going to hopefully have threads where we kick Yeerk butt. Here are some ideas that have been swimming around in my head. - Space battle! We have ships dammit, I think it would be cool to get into a space battle at some point.
- Mission involving Chee. We have it set up that there is an uneasy alliance between the Chee and the Animorphs. This obviously means we need a mission with tons of tension between the two groups
- Mission with free Hork-Bajir.
That's all I really have to bring to the table for the moment.

I'm hoping there will be kicking of Yeerk butt in the rescue scene. If not, we can plan a mission thread or two to cause some collateral damage to the Yeerks-- basically showing them that the Animorphs are a force to be reckoned with as well as stopping whatever the Yeerks happen to be doing at that time.
And, after reading about the Chee on Wikipedia since I knew nothing about them, this is what I found:
I'm thinking we could do something with that, eh? Particularly that deep ocean part? Maybe? I just really want an underwater base. Somewhere.
This is just another thought, but what about the idea of a timeline? I know some people don't like the idea of one, but I've always liked having an idea of dates within an RP. It'd be kind of cool to know when characters' birthdays are so we can have celebrations and ruin them. Thoughts?

Yeah, something incorporating the Chee somewhere would be good. Maybe in the deep sea involved in the underwater mission. Since they served as spies for the Animorphs the first time, maybe somehow incorporating that as well.
I think we WERE going to do something with a timeline. I don't know if it was going to be a strict thing - nothing so defined as 1 day RP time = 1 day real time - but we were going to run sort of on a real time basis. The month & season we are in for reality will be the month/season for the RP. Threads don't have to be looked at as starting the exact day they start in RL time, because some are intended to start immediately after another thread and yet they take a week or so to RP out. Hence why were were running the timeline a little more loosely. But current time is October... or actually September because we're still on the same day they saved Rue.
EDIT: Tim and I are recommending that if - more likely when - we contact the Chee, we use the same few Chee repeatedly for the ones we communicate with. The Animorphs pretty much always spoke to Erik, not really with other Chee. So we should have at most maybe 3 that are our "go to guys."

You guys have been very busy bees while I was trying to post from an Ipod, so I guess I should pitch in by saying what I want to see happen as well as giving my two cents on what others have said. - One of the time travel things: You know like when they went back to the dinosaurs or had to travel through history to stop that one Yeerk from screwing with history.
- Experience a Sario Rip thread as that sounds like a fun thing to happen.
- Have Crayak try to mess with my character (not sure if that one is plausible)
- Re-visit the lost city of Atlantis people for some reason like they have somehow acquired the Pemalite ship or something
I also like the arc threading and timeline ideas as it would keep me from meeting someone twice in a row or something. I also like the acquiring of a morph for a specific mission idea, and using the bug morphs for a mission also sounds like a delightful idea.

That first time travel deal you mentioned (from Megamorphs 2 with the dinos) was a Sario Rip. I personally would love to have one of those happen. Both that and - if we can find a feasible way of making it work - the time travel being similar to Megamorphs 3 would be kind of a neat thing. The latter one might take a bit of brainstorming. As I said in the C-Box, keep your fingers crossed at the end of the month when we to Site Award voting. If you can win an award, you've got the option of a visit from Crayak or Ellimist. It's more than possible. The Atlantis comment confuses me. What am I forgetting about here?

Book 36: The Mutation is the actual story that I am referring to. When they morphed to orcas to take down the submarine spaceship, and ended up finding those weird looking people that had a collection of ships and were planning to assault the surface world.

I think I remember now. And I might reread that book just to be sure. It could be very interesting, though. It's another that could take some planning... or maybe be worked into our water mission idea.... not sure.

I'm always in favor of a Sario Rip scenario. Tim and I talked ages ago about doing that sometime, so I definitely think we should do it here at some point. We would just need to figure out when to do it and whatnot.

so Tim forced suggested that I put my thought in here. lol.
So what if we did a water mission and the group comes upon a whaling ship and they go after Sam and whoever may have a whale morph? idk just a thought.

After the post of Samantha's parents for Prominent NPCs, I definitely think it would be nice to try and work them into something. Maybe using them along with our water mission or something.... Tie some of these ideas together.
As for the whaling ship... that could be an interesting thing to see how they handle it. Perhaps even we all have whale morphs, because of getting it as a mission morph for the water mission.... because the originals got a lot of their water forms for specific missions originally.

Ok. I have a possible mission idea here. Feast your eyes on this and tell me what you guys think:
Phase One: A Chee ally (or Sam's parents maybe) learns the yeerks have something cooking, but isn't able to get a lot of details. Still they let us know and let us know where the plans for whatever it is are being kept.
Phase Two: Animorphs (maybe not all of us to save on chaos) sneak into the base where the plans are being kept to steal them. I was thinking sneak in through the vents using bug morphs. However, two of those going would have to have smaller land morphs that could be used to carry the plans out once they'd gotten in.
Phase Three: We discover they've got an underwater base and are keeping something there. Water morphs mission - possibly with a specific water morph being gained for it - to go to the base and either destroy it or destroy/steal whatever is being kept there.
It ties many of our ideas together... and maybe some other fun plans thrown into the mix.

I like this plan. It meshes a lot of the ideas together nicely without making it seem like they are being forced. I agree that not everyone should go on all the missions though (at least not in the same thread doing the same thing). If you get more than three or four people in a thread, it gets confusing and the pace slows way down.
