I actually really like the idea of having the taxxon nothlit in the reserve. It makes sense to me. They'd need to have gone somewhere, and since Elimist has been known to stack the deck in the favor of his chosen ones before (his choices in who became the original Animorphs - the details of which were mentioned in Megamorphs 4) it would make sense to me that he maybe even purposefully stuck that taxxon nothlit there.

Coming in to say I'm still on board and that I also really like the taxxon nohlit idea.

Animorphs and Yeerks teaming up: I think that's an awesome idea. I'm not sure what the common threat to both of them would be, but I do think introducing another alien species would throw both of them for a loop. Since I'm not incredibly familiar with the aliens in Animorphs, could someone see if there are other aliens from the books to throw in the mix here? Something dangerous obviously. I only know aliens from Star Trek and Doctor Who, so not much help here.
As for the taxxon nothlit, I think we're pretty much all agreed on that idea. It looks solid to me, so I say we go for it.

Glad to hear everyone seems to be alright with the taxxon idea. I'll have to remember to bring that character in sometime when it fits (unless someone else beats me to it, which I encourage).
As for mutual enemies for the animorphs and yeerks, the most likely candidates I can think of are the Kelbrids from the last book. They seem like they might possibly have some problems with the yeerks/human/The One since all three were in their territory. Other possibilities could be surviving Nartec from book 36, some renegade andalites, or maybe even more likely than the Kelbrid, humans.
