PERSONALITY: Evvie is many sided, quick both in the mind and physically. She is brimming with energy and vitality, and is very clever with words. She is intelligent and very adaptable to every situation and every person. Evvie is a very curious person and always wants to know what's going on in the world around her. She doesn't like asking questions, though, because she doesn't want to seem stupid. She is not one to sit back and watch the world go by, she wants to be involved. This can sometimes make her seem nosy. Lacking perseverance, she can easily go off topic to explore another thought or idea. Evvie tends to be passive almost to a fault. She lets her friends and/or family decide what they will do and she lets them walk all over her. If pushed, though, she will stand up for herself.
Evvie is a kind and caring girl once you get to know her, but she has a tendency to come off as cold and emotionless to those who don't know her or who have just met her, thus her nickname "Thorne". She has a hard time trusting people at first which is mainly due to her family. Evvie is some-what afraid of getting close to people because she's worried about getting hurt. Fiercely loyal to those few people she does trust, she can't stand to see them hurt or upset. Evvie likes to joke around with those she is close to, and can have a hard time being serious on occasion. She tries her hardest to see both sides of an argument and be fair and just to everyone, even the people she doesn't quite trust. Evvie is a very tolerant person and rarely judges others or puts them down (aside from her own family of course). She hates conflict but she'll intervene a fight if she feels she must although she normally tries to diffuse the situation rather than join the fray.
BACKGROUND:
HOMETOWN: Los Angeles, CA
HISTORY: Evelyn Grace Thorpe was born on May 31st to Annabeth and Charles Thorpe in a LA hospital. For once, the Thorpes were at home instead of traveling to foreign lands. Annabeth was an anthropologist while Charles was a zoologist. It's plain to see why Evelyn grew up loving animals as dearly as she did. During Evelyn's childhood, the Thorpes were rarely staying at their home in La. Instead, they were just about everywhere else in the world.
While on these trips, Evvie (as she was more commonly known) would almost always follow her father around. She was much more interested in wild animals than people and their cultures. Thanks to her father, she was able to come into contact with tons of animals most little kids can't even dream about. Madagascar quickly became her favorite place, due to its abundance of unique animals only known to that island.
When Evvie was fifteen her mother decided it was time that they head back to LA and stay (more or less) so that Evelyn could attend high school like a normal child. Evvie absolute detested this idea, because by this point she had been diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder, most likely due to a chemical imbalance in her brain, genetics, or a combination of both. It also didn't help that as a child, she was generally either alone or with her parents. She hated to idea of meeting new people, and being in a school with over four hundred students was definitely going to cause her stress. It also made it extremely difficult for her to get close to other people.
Her first year of high school went as she expected it; horrible. Evvie did, however, manage to make a few friends. These friends, though, were of the "wrong crowd" as Annabeth put it. Most of them often skipped school, did drugs, and drank alcohol. Evvie was able to relate to them the best, and stuck with them, despite her mother's pestering. Her friends never pressured her to do as they did, and for awhile, Evvie was able to resist the temptation.
Then during the middle of her junior year, her father was struck by lightning and killed. Evelyn already had a strong fear of thunderstorms, and her father's dead made it even harder for her to deal with them. She'd skip school if there was even a chance of a storm. After the death, she also closed herself off more, from everyone. She rarely came out of her room, and when she did she always had to have a jacket with her, as a security blanket of a sort. After missing two full weeks of school, her mother forced her to go, which was probably the worst thing she had ever done.
Evelyn turned to substance abuse as a way to cope with her anxiety and stress, particularly alcohol. Her friends were able to supply her whatever she wanted. And it helped her loads. She was able to talk to people and socialize without problems. She was never stressed out anymore. While it definitely wasn't her shining moment, she couldn't find it in herself to regret her decisions. At least, she didn't until it killed someone.
It happened when she went clubbing with her friends. They pulled straws to figure out who would be the designated driver, and Evvie lost. Bummed about not being able to drink any alcohol, she ordered a plain regular coke. She didn't even really need the fake I.D. she had in her purse. Little did she know that one of her so called "friends" spiked the drink with vodka, which barely changed the taste and smell of the drink. Evvie didn't even feel the effects until she had already gotten behind the wheel and started driving. Somehow, a tree managed to jump onto the road in front of her, and she crashed right into it.
The crash killed one of her friends and put the other three in the hospital. Evvie herself had somehow managed to have the good sense to put her seat-belt on, unlike any of the other kids. Everyone blamed her for the crash, since she had been drunk driving, but she knew the truth. The only thing she had ordered at the club was coke, so someone had to of slipped something into her drink when she wasn't looking.
Pissed beyond belief at her daughter's actions, Annabeth decided to ship Evelyn off to her relatives in Seattle, hoping that being away from her friends would do her some good. So Evvie flew to Seattle to stay with her cousin Samantha James and her family, unaware of what was waiting for her there...

For the home of several powerful beings, the Brotherhood Base seriously lacked good food. There was almost never anything to eat! What did a girl have to do to get semi-decent food? Trixie sighed audibly and leaned against one of the kitchen cabinets. Her stomach growled, causing her to frown. "It's not my fault there isn't any food," she muttered to her stomach. For once, it really wasn't her fault. It's not like she worked or anything. The only thing she could possibly do to help out around the base would be to steal things. And as much fun as that sounded, she didn't feel like doing it.
Trixie sighed again and glared at the fridge. She was really hungry, but there was literally nothing in the kitchen! Pushing herself off the cabinet, she wandered over to the fridge for the second time, and pulled open the door. The nearly empty fridge contained a bottle of ketchup, two packets of Taco Bell taco sauce, a rotting apple (which smelled absolutely horrific), and a spoon. The taco sauce packets actually seemed fairly tempting, but Trixie dismissed the idea immediately. She slammed the door closed and moved on to the freezer. It had a few more things in it, but not by much. There was an empty Hot Pockets box, a bag of frozen green beans (villains can eat veggies too, ya know!), two tuberware bowls filled with strange brown substances, a cob of corn that had seen better days, and a Reese's cup. Trixie started to slam the door shut, but then her brain registered the last thing. In a back corner of the freezer was a single Reese's cup, one that looked like it hadn't been sitting there for years. Standing on the tips of her toes, she reached in and pulled it out. Victory was her's!
Settling back onto her feet, Trixie closed the freezer and then leaned against the counter again. She started to hum a song to herself as she unwrapped the miracle chocolate, swaying from side to side a little as she did. Once the Reese's was free from it protective outer wrapper, she had to peel the second wrapper off of it. Then it was finally naked, and ready for her to eat. She took a bite out of it and relished the awesomeness.
Of course, once she finished eating the Reese's, she was still hungry. Trixie groaned and threw her head back, narrowly avoiding the cabinet that was behind her. Smashing her head on a cabinet was not on her list of things to do today. Foot steps sounded from down the hallway, and Trixie's head whipped toward the door. Whoever entered that door next was going to get an earful from her. It didn't matter who it was, they were going to get a piece of her mind. Her stomach growled in agreement and she smiled. Someone was going to pay, and they were to going to pay dearly. She was going to wish for their arms to disappear or something and thanks to her all powerful wishing ability it was going to...
And that's when it hit her, causing her smile to falter. Why the hell didn't she think of that sooner?! She could just wish for food! "It's because I'm so damn hungry I can't think straight! she growled. Well, it was too late now, whoever was in the hallway was getting closer, and they had to be coming into the kitchen. She was going to yell at them, then wish up some ingredients for a sandwich and make them make it! That would show them! She smiled again, wickedly this time, and prepared herself mentally.
