"Its not his fault. I don't think he'd appreciate the sentiment,"
"Then I'll just beat up Eric later. Too tired now," she answered so only Jack could hear. She was joking, of course, but she needed to let out this anger somehow. The girl raised an eyebrow as she saw Jack watching her, her brown eyes scanning his features for any hint of what he was thinking, but soon he stood up. She blinked in surprise as Jack signaled for her to follow him and she shrugged, standing from the chair and following after him.
"C'mon, maybe you had a good point. Let's take a break from the screen and the bridge,"
Geez. The great Jack Flynn was finally listening to her. Who'd have thought it? The girl stared at the boy as he told Eric to keep an eye on things and soon turned back to her to see if she was alright with the idea. She felt herself suppress a laugh, but she shook her head as a smile crossed her face. "Alright. Sounds good to me."
She followed after Jack, not entirely sure what he had in mind to keep their thoughts off the situation at hand, but she hoped that Eric would find out where Kyle was. She hated not knowing where people were. It reminded her of the time she had to wait for her brothers to come home from practice and they were hours late. She was afraid they had been kidnapped or killed and they ended up missing the bus and walking home. Unfortunately, this situation was worse than missing the bus. Kyle had actually been kidnapped. Oh lord what were they going to do now?

It seemed Sam was on-board with the idea of getting off the bridge. It wasn't that much of a surprise to Jack, after all she was the one who had suggested to do so in the first place. Though if she thought he had any ideas of what to do instead, she would be disappointed. Frankly, he had no ideas at the moment. He was hoping just walking around The Sanctuary would help take their minds off the current situation. That was all he had at the moment. It probably would have been a good idea to think up something to do before deciding to walk off the bridge.
Once the exited the bridge he looked over to Sam. "So, I have absolutely no idea what to go do right now," he admitted with a smirk. "Not much more than walk all over the ship until we're calmed down or something happens anyway," Maybe she would have some ideas besides that. "How bout you any ideas?" His smirk widened. "Since you took my chair that means you're the leader right? And that means you can decide what we do," he teased. Whatever the case, he could already feel that he was a bit more relaxed. That tended to happen when you weren't hovering over a computer screen the whole time.

"So, I have absolutely no idea what to go do right now. Not much more than walk all over the ship until we're calmed down or something happens anyway,"
"Geez Blue Eyes, what am I gonna do with you, huh?!" she rolled her eyes, smirking lightly at him. He had not planned what they were doing to do? Well that was smart. She had half a mind to punish him for not thinking this through by means of demanding a piggyback ride but she was not feeling like being 5 years old at the moment. She noticed the smirk plastered on his face and raised an eyebrow as he continued.
"Since you took my chair that means you're the leader right? And that means you can decide what we do,"
She pulled a face, knowing that comment about her taking his chair would come back and haunt her one day. She was surprised that day came so soon but she shook her head in amusement just the same. The girl stuck her tongue out at him and soon walked quicker. "I don't think I like being the leader. Too much thinking involved. Walking around the ship sounds nice, we can think of a plan on what to do once we get to wherever Kyle is as well. Unless you want to keep your mind off of all of this. That would be fine with me as well."
Sam turned around to face him, now walking backwards at the same pace as she had been walking before as she watched him. She enjoyed the fact that now Jack seemed more relaxed and she smiled. At least he was finally calm enough to just be himself and not the great 'Animorphs Leader' that everyone expected him to be. Life was so much easier when you did not have to put up a strong front for everyone.

Jack chuckled at the face Sam gave him. Though she sounded fine with just walking around the ship. She also said they could come up with a plan on what to do when they saved Kyle or not do so. Jack shook his head when she mentioned coming up with a plan. "We don't really know what kind of predicament he's in. We can't really plan anything until we know more," he replied to her. "Plus, we're supposed to be taking a break right? So let's take a break from thinking about that," Sometimes it was best to not think about an issue an once you relaxed to revisit it. Jack also had his earpiece, and Eric would contact him the minute something happened, he could count on him for that.
Sam walked ahead in front of him, walking backwards to face him. He gave her a small smile back. He wasn't quite sure what to say at this point. "Still can't believe we managed to make this ship ours," he finally said as they walked. "I'm not even sure I've seen every room this place has to offer," It was quite amazing how lucky they had been to steal a blade ship of all things. Saying it had come in handy would be a real big understatement. He gave her a grin. "Ever have a hard time finding your way around?" he asked her. "I think I've gotten lost once or twice, especially when we first got it,"

"We don't really know what kind of predicament he's in. We can't really plan anything until we know more. Plus, we're supposed to be taking a break right? So let's take a break from thinking about that."
"Good idea, oh wise one" she snickered, continuing to walk backwards as she listened to him. This was a lot better than she figured it would be. It was nice to get out and just get out of the bridge and calm down every once in awhile. It was probably what kept them all from going nuts besides an incomparable sense of humor.
"Still can't believe we managed to make this ship ours, I'm not even sure I've seen every room this place has to offer."
Sam chuckled, turning back around to walk with Jack the correct way as she stuffed her hands on her pockets. Looking around as he said it, Sam would barely believe it herself. It seemed like only yesterday, but it was actually theirs now. It was weird to inhabit a ship, but when Sam got bored or restless she took to exploring the different rooms. She was never one for a good sense of direction, so she figured she should know where the hell she was going if she did not want to get lost.
"Ever have a hard time finding your way around? I think I've gotten lost once or twice, especially when we first got it."
"Only once, and that was when I was going around the ship and mapping it out. I refuse to get lost, you know I'm horrible with directions. I explore when I can't sleep, so I know this place like the back of my hand. Sort of. I'm still working on it," she chuckled, watching him closely. "Have you seen it all or have you kept yourself locked up on the bridge?"

Jack nodded at her response as they walked down the corridor. It seemed like Sam hadn't really gotten lost that much herself. As for Jack he was more used to the ship now then he had been when they first got it. However, he would always get lost in the rooms that separate Animorphs had. He could find his, Kyle, and Ashley's no problem as well as a few others, but after that he wouldn't be able to tell you which rooms people claimed as their own. Other than that, he was able to get himself around the ship.
"I'm not sure if I've seen it all, but I've seen most of it I'd like to think," he responded to Sam's question. He gave her a smirk. "Even though I do get called to the bridge for most of the day. I'm sure there's probably at least one place I haven't been to here," As if on cue, he heard Eric's voice on his earpiece. Jack, it looks like we got a signal. Come take a look. I'm already giving Ashley a call. Figures the minute they walked away was when the signal would pop up. He looked over to Sam. "Duty calls. It looks like Kyle's been found," he told her as he then turned around and rushed back towards the bridge.

"Even though I do get called to the bridge for most of the day. I'm sure there's probably at least one place I haven't been to here,"
"Well then I shall have to loan you my maps and see if you have been everywhere," she chuckled, watching Jack freeze and she brought herself closer to listen into the conversation between Eric and himself. Jack, it looks like we got a signal. Come take a look. I'm already giving Ashley a call.
"Duty calls. It looks like Kyle's been found,"
He didn't have to tell her twice. The brunette practically flew back down the hall, rushing back into the bridge and sliding into the chair as she focused on the signal Eric had been telling them about. "Where is he, Eric?" she asked, catching sight of one of it and shaking her head. "Nevermind. Jack, you go get Ashley, I'll start in that direction. Do you want me to bring someone along?" she asked, writing down the location on her hand and starting towards the door as she put on her own earpiece. She had been too antsy to stay in there and now was the time to go get Kyle. She was not going to just sit around and wait for something to happen. Now she was going to go. Should she fly? That was probably the best bet. Sam concentrated, slowly feeling her eagle morph start to form.

Jack and Sam reached the bridge again pretty quickly. He took a look back over to the screen he had been previously staring at. There it was, Kyle's signal was lighting up on the screen as plain as day. Sam had written down the location and was already on her way out. Jack looked back towards Eric. "Have Ashley meet us there with Rue," he told him quickly before following after Sam. He wasn't going to wait any longer. He memorized where the signal was coming from, and was starting to think up a plan. He would need to see exactly the predicament Kyle was in before going through with anything.
He caught up with Sam pretty quickly. "C'mon, let's go save him. Ashley and Rue should be meeting us there," he told her as they ran for the docking bay. He could see her starting to morph into her bird morph and he began to do the same. They were close enough that they wouldn't need a bug fighter to get there. Jack was in his familiar nightingale form in moments and the docking bay was ready for them by the time they got there. They flew out of the ship and Jack flew off towards the signal. Hold on, Kyle. Help is on the way.
