So, there is a concept we would like to allow on the site, but we don't know how to reasonably moderate people doing it. We decided that we trust the judgement of you, our members, and that we would ask you to give you opinions and see if you could come up with a fair way to go about it.
The Concept Is:
Christina had suggested to Tim and myself a solution to the problem of Ashley, Kyle, and Jack being as recognizable as they were whenever they were human and on Earth. her solution was them pulling a Frolis Manuever.
This is what Ax did in book 4 when he acquired the DNA of Rachel, Marco, Jake, and Cassie and then combined the four DNA strands into one single morph. It's not something limited to just andalites from the sound of the definition. We would like to allow this on the site, not just for our characters but for everyone.
Problems We See
1. Because these morphs are unique creations from multiple DNA strands, the morph itself would probably require a face claim so that people knew what it would look like and so that you didn't randomly have an identical person show up down the line. Allowing people to get a Frolis Maneuver morph - and thus a second face claim - willy-nilly is not a concept that appeals to us.
2. We worry that if we allow this, everyone will want one. We want to trust that people would be reasonable and not get the morph unless they needed it, but can't guarantee that every member who joins would be reasonable.
3. We feel it's kind of not fair for us to make the call on whether or not the character needs such a morph. People might not consider our opinions to be objective and unbiased.
Again, while the idea isn't a bad one to allow, and we've figured that, if we did allow for it, it could be something the three leaders learned from the andalites in a background thread (not that they used it until the present) we want to be sure that this is moderated fairly if we do include it.

Frolis Maneuver: a feat of morphing in which a morpher combines the DNA of two or more creatures that he/she has acquired from a species into one DNA stream to make a new creature.
